Norfolk has more medieval churches per acre than anywhere else in the world. They are famous across the country for their architecture, furnishings and memorials. This course will introduce you to several hundred of them, explaining their history and how they were used.
John Vigar has been an ecclesiastical historian for 40 years and has an enthusiastic and infectious approach to his subject. The classes will be lavishly illustrated and are suitable for anyone with an interest in our built environment.
